この楽曲は、星のアルタイルとベガを題材に、それにまつわる愛の物語(こと座のオルフェウスとエウリュディケー、そして七夕の織姫と彦星)に着想を得たものである。 
楽曲は4つのセクション(「星座I」、「回想」、「川辺にて」、「星座II」)から構成される。 ハープとコントラバスの対話から生み出される様々な「運動」や「形態」の中に、様々な愛の記憶(の断片)を覗き見ることとなる。

This piece is inspired by the stars Altair and Vega and the love stories associated with them (Orpheus and Eurydice in the constellation Lyra, and Orihime and Hikoboshi in Tanabata). The piece consists of four sections (“Stars I,” “Recollection,” “By the River,” and “Stars II”). In the various “movements” and “forms” created by the dialogue between Harp and Contrabass, we see various memories (fragments) of love.
